The class will be divided up into four groups. Each group will represent a different migrating animal. Each group will be responsible for three main tasks.
1. Research your group's migrating animal to find out why they migrate. Use the information gathered to design a migrating animal trading card.
2. Find out where your group's migrating animal travels. Print out a map of the world and show the path taken by your group's animal.
3. Learn about the factors that help decide the success of their trip. Write a fictional story telling about the trip of your animal.
